SINGAPORE, 10 APRIL 2018:
Stendard today announced the formation of the Corporate Advisory Board and our first distinguished advisor, Mr Lee Suan Hiang.
Mr Lee Suan Hiang, a Colombo Plan Scholar in Industrial Design (Engineering), had a varied career in public service as Deputy Managing Director of the Economic Development Board and Chief Executive of SPRING Singapore, National Productivity Board and Singapore Institute of Standards and Industrial Research before his retirement in 2011.
In these roles, he was actively involved in Singapore’s economic development, promoting investments to Singapore, developing international business linkages and helping Singapore companies to regionalise. He also led the national programme to develop and nurture Singapore’s SMEs, and spearheaded the national efforts in promoting and developing productivity, standards and innovation. During those period, he was also Chairman of PSB Corporation and Council Member of the International Standards Organisation. He now serves as the President of the EDB Society.
